who we are
brindie helps organizers publish event pages, sell tickets, and message their community. this policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
what we collect
- organizer accounts: when you sign up we use our auth provider (clerk) for login, email, and profile basics needed to run your account.
- event & registration data: details you add about events, plus attendee names and emails you collect through rsvps and checkout.
- payments: paid tickets are processed by stripe (including connect where applicable). we don't store full card numbers on brindie servers—stripe handles card data under their own terms and privacy policy.
- technical data: standard logs, device and browser info, and cookies needed for security, sessions, and product functionality.
how we use data
we use data to provide the service (host pages, deliver emails, process payments), improve reliability and fraud prevention, and communicate with you about your account or important changes. we don't sell personal data.
processors & third parties
we rely on vendors to run brindie—for example hosting and database (supabase), email delivery (resend), payments (stripe), and authentication (clerk). they only receive what they need to perform those services.
retention
we keep information as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, or security purposes. you can request deletion where applicable; some records may need to be kept for tax or dispute reasons.
your rights
depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data, and to object to certain processing. contact us and we'll help within a reasonable timeframe.
